RI - HB8319 AN ACT RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY - RIGHTS OF PATIENTS - MEDICAL RECORD FEES FOR VETERANS (Requires health care providers to provide veterans copies of their medical records at no charge if the records are used to apply for benefits of any kind.)

RI - HB7729 AN ACT RELATING TO TAXATION - MILITARY RETIREMENT (Excludes for the purposes of Rhode Island state income taxes, the first twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) of military retirement income, paid by the state or federal government, to persons sixty-five (65) years or older.)

RI - HB7441 AN ACT RELATING TO MILITARY AFFAIRS AND DEFENSE - BURIAL OF VETERANS (Prohibits the walking of any domestic animal on the grounds of the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. An exception would be made for service dogs. Violations would be punished by a fine of not less than five hundred dollars ($500).)

RI - HB7345 AN ACT RELATING TO THE WESTERLY HIGHER EDUCATION AND JOB SKILLS CENTER (Authorizes the appropriation of the sum of seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000) to the Westerly Higher Education and Job Skills Center, for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2016.)

RI - HB7415 AN ACT RELATING TO ELECTIONS (Adds the secretary of state to the board of elections as a nonvoting ex officio member. It also requires the board of canvassers to clearly mark the fifty foot (50') buffer zone at each polling place, where political campaigning is prohibited.)

RI - HB7421 AN ACT RELATING TO FOOD AND DRUGS -- THE EDWARD O. HAWKINS AND THOMAS C. SLATER MEDICAL MARIJUANA ACT (Prohibits a patient or caregiver cardholder from manufacturing marijuana using a solvent process that includes the use of a flammable gas as a solvent, but permits compassion center cardholders to the process in accordance with DOH rules.)
