+ − Biography
State Representative Marlene Anielski is currently serving her third term in the Ohio House of Representatives. She represents the 6th House District, which includes portions of Cuyahoga County including Bentleyville, Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls Township, Gates Mills, Glenwillow, Highland Heights, Hunting Valley, Independence, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Village, Moreland Hills, Oakwood, Seven Hills, Solon, Valley View and Walton Hills.
Growing up in northeastern Ohio, Representative Anielski is the former mayor of Walton Hills. She served as mayor/safety director for more than 10 years. She earned her Master's of Business Administration from Cleveland State University and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Akron. She also received her certification as an Ohio Certified Public Manager from Cleveland State University. Representative Anielski has actively participated in numerous national, state and community organizations. The groups included a steering committee member of the Small Communities Council of the National League of Cities, a steering committee member of the Mayors’ and Municipalities Automotive Coalition (MMAC), Chambers of Commerce and a Junior Achievement
