Representative Lorrie J. Carey represents Merrimack 26 – Boscawen, Canterbury, Franklin – Ward 3, Loudon, and Northfield. She is a New Hampshire native and a cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters in Public Affairs. She owns a small business in Boscawen, where she was honored to serve as a Selectwoman and a School Board representative to the Merrimack Valley School Board. She was a Presidential Appointee, under President Clinton, to the White House Conference on Small Businesses. She is the mother of four children and lives with her husband, Paul Matthews, in Boscawen.
