+ − Biography
Rep. Tila Hubrecht, a Republican, represents Stoddard County and parts of Scott County (District 151) in the Missouri House of Representatives. She was elected to the House in a special election in August 2014.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Hubrecht serves as a nurse and volunteers in her community. Prior to her 12 years as a nurse, Rep Hubrecht was a teacher for Kenny Rogers CP Center, Bloomfield and Poplar Bluff Schools.
Rep. Hubrecht is active in her church, serving as the Director of Children’s Activities and the Church organist. She belongs to the following organizations: Stoddard County Farm Bureau, Dexter Rotary Club, Missouri Nurses Association, National Rifle Association, Stoddard County Republican Club, and Civil Air Patrol.
A graduate of Richland R-1 High School, Rep. Hubrecht received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southeast Missouri State University. She also received an Associate’s and Master’s Degree in Nursing from Excelsior College of Nursing.
Born in Dexter, Rep. Hubrecht currently resides there with her husband. They have two daughters.
