+ − Biography
Representative Rudy Veit, a Republican, represents parts of Cole and Miller counties (District 59) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2018.
In addition to his legislative duties, Veit is a practicing attorney at Carson & Coil Law Firm in Jefferson City.
Veit attends church at Saint Stanislaus and is a member of the Wardsville Lions Club, Jefferson City Park Foundation, Missouri Farm Bureau, Cattlemen's Association, Missouri Bar Association, Cole County Bar Association, Cole County Republicans, Lincoln University Blue Tigers Club, and the St. Thomas Knights of Columbus. He has served with the Jeff City Parks and Recreation Commission, Special Olympics Missouri, and the American Heart Association.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Agriculture Economics and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
Veit resides in Wardsville with his wife, Jeri. They have four children and six grandchildren.
