Rep. Rochelle Walton Gray, a Democrat, represents parts of St. Louis County (District 75) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep. Gray has worked as a legal administrator for the past 23 years. In 2009, she was elected to serve as State Director of Missouri for the National Foundation for Women Legislators (NFWL).
Rep. Gray attends Christ Our Redeemer AME Church. She serves as Secretary of the Missouri Legislative Black Caucus and is a member of the Women Legislator’s Lobby (WiLL). She also is a member of NOBEL; NOBEL (Woman); NCSL; NBCSL; Vice President Women Legislators of Missouri; Missouri Women’s Coalition; President Women’s Democratic Caucus; Missouri Legislative Black Caucus; Winning Women Coalition; Molli’s List; and NOWL (National Organization of Women Legislators).
Rep. Walton Gray has been the recipient of the Annie Malone Children’s Advocate Award as well as many other youth service and mentoring awards received from church, school districts and Girl Scouts.
She is the stepdaughter of Juanita Walton who served as state representative for the 81st district from 2000-2008.
A graduate of Southwest High School, Rep. Gray received her B.S. in Public Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
Born in St. Louis, Rep. Gray currently resides in Blackjack with her husband, Alan Gray, and their two children, Alan II and Alana.
