Rep. Lynn Morris, a Republican, represents the eastern part of Christian County (District 140) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2012.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Morris is a Pharmacist and President/Owner of Family Pharmacy Inc, Family Pharmacy HealthCare Services and Family Pharmacy Partners LLC.
Rep. Morris was selected as U.S. Pharmacist of the Year by U.S. Pharmacists Publications and was awarded the Frist Humanitarian Award in 1997. His company has been recognized as one of the top 100 U.S. Drug Store Chains by the National Association of Chain Drug Stores from 2000-2012.
Rep. Morris is a member of the following organizations: Missouri Pharmacy Association, American Society of Consulting Pharmacists, National Association of Chain Drug Stores, Christian Business Associates, National Federation of Independent Business, and multiple Chambers of Commerce from around the area. He also has served on multiple boards such as the Boys & Girls Group Homes, Ozark School, American Diabetes Association, Christian County Cancer Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is an active member of Ozark Baptist Church.
He obtained the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America.
A 1967 graduate of Parkview High School, Rep. Morris received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Missouri-Kansas City. He received his Masters in Healthcare Administration from Southwest Baptist University in 2000.
Born January 22, 1949 in West Plains, Rep. Morris currently resides in Ozark with his wife Janet. They have three children, Justin, Melissa and Mandy.
