+ − Biography
Representative Lincoln Hough, a Republican, represents part of Greene County (District 135) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Hough is a cattle rancher. He also has worked in the offices of the Missouri House of Representatives Budget Chairman, Greene County Prosecuting Attorney and the Greene County Public Defender.
Since becoming a Representative he has been honored to participate in a Trade Mission to Taiwan and South Korea as well as being selected to attend the American Swiss Young Leaders Conference in Zurich Switzerland. He has also received in 2011 the Missouri Community College Association Distinguished Legislator of the Year, in 2012 the Missouri Farm Bureau Friend of Agriculture Award, Springfield Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award, in 2013 the Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau Diplomat Award, the Missouri Council for In-Home Services Public Service Award, Missouri Citizens for the Arts Art Advocacy Award, The Missouri Ambulance Association’s Representative of the Year Award, in 2015 the Missouri Dental Association’s Legislative Excellence Award,
Rep. Hough attends Mount Comfort Bible Church.
Rep. Hough is a 2001 graduate of Hillcrest High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Missouri State University in 2005.
Born June 17, 1982 in Springfield, Missouri, Rep. Hough currently resides there with his wife, Sarah and son William.
