+ − Biography
Rep. Donald Phillips, a Republican, represents Stone County and parts of Christian and Taney Counties (District 138) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010.
Prior to his legislative duties, Rep. Phillips served as a state trooper for 28 years with the Missouri Highway Patrol Troop D. He retired with the rank of Sergeant. Rep. Phillips also served as the head basketball and baseball coach as well as athletic director at Hollister High School from 1973-1977.
Rep. Phillips is a 35-year member of the First Baptist Church of Kimberling City.
Rep. Phillips is a 1969 graduate of Rolla High School. He received his B.S. in Physical Education from the College of the Ozarks. He was inducted into the College of the Ozarks Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.
Born in St. Louis and raised in Salem, Rep. Phillips now resides in Kimberling City with his wife, Kathrin. They are the parents of two daughters and four grandchildren.
