Rep. Delus Johnson, a Republican, represents parts of Andrew and Buchanan Counties in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010 and he currently serves as a member of the Majority Whip team.
Representative Johnson spent nearly 20 years as a Captain on the St. Joseph Fire Department. He has received the Fire Chief’s Life Saving Award, has been recognized for his perfect attendance, and was a former Emergency Medical Technician for the Andrew County Ambulance District.
Representative Johnson has owned numerous businesses including a training company which has helped thousands of Missouri entrepreneurs start their own business.
He is a member of the National Rifle Association, St. Joseph Metro Chamber of Commerce, Savannah Chamber of Commerce, Savannah Rotary Club, and the International Association of Firefighters.
Raised in St. Joseph, Rep. Johnson currently resides there with his wife, Tara. They have two children, Julia and Taylee.
