+ − Biography
Rep. Ben Harris, a Democrat, represents parts of Jefferson and Washington counties (District 118) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2010. He was re-elected to office in 2012, 2014, and 2016.
Rep. Harris currently serves as the Ranking Minority Member on the House Committee on Conservation and Natural Resources.
In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Harris works on the family farm that has a cow/calf operation.
Rep. Harris is a member of the Morse Mill Baptist Church.
Rep. Harris is a 1995 graduate of Grandview R-2 High School. He received an associate’s degree from Jefferson College in 1997 and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management from Missouri Baptist College in 2000.
Born October 20, 1976 in St. Louis, Rep. Harris currently resides in Hillsboro. He is the son of Ed and Belinda Harris. His Mother, Belinda, served as the State Representative for the 110th district from 2002-2010.
