Senator Chism is a member of Union County Women, National Realtors Association, N. E. Board of Realtors, Republican Party Mississippi and Mississippi Auctioneer.
Senator Chism was born in Aurora, IL on August 22, 1957. She is married to Bob Chism. They have one child, Joni and Son In Law Jeremy McLarty. They have four grandchildren; Lexi, Cash, Leighton and Hoyt. Senator Chism is of the Baptist faith.
