Senator Barnett was formerly the Mayor of Heidelberg, 2001-2016. He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity & serves as Vice president of the CWA Local 3509.
Senator Barnett was born on February 21, 1970. He is married to the former Jacqueline Lovett. He is of the Baptist faith.
