Full-time legislator in her second term; B.A. in telecommunications, Indiana University; M.A. in political science, Northeastern Illinois University; graduate of the Illinois Women's Institute for Leadership; the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development; an Edgar Fellow, Milbank Fellow, and a Henry Toll Fellow; member, Legislative Committee of the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Commission, Executive Committee member of the Great Lakes Legislative Caucus, Emerging Adult Justice Learning Community, Kiwanis Club of Glenview-Northbrook, Rotary Club of Glenview Sunrise, Glenview/Glencoe League of Women Voters; former journalist; former instructor, Northeastern Illinois University; former Northfield Township Clerk; married, has two children.
