Born and raised in Louisville, Illinois. Attended North Clay Unit #25 schools and earned an A.A.S. in Agricultural Production from Lake Land College in Mattoon. Owner/Operator of a family farm in Clay and surrounding counties growing corn, soybeans, and wheat. Previously served one term in the Illinois House as the Representative for the 109th District. Resides in rural Louisville and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren.
