Appointed to the Senate in 2020 and lives in Buffalo Grove; Bachelor's degree from Columbia College; Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago School of Law; served on the Buffalo Grove Park District Board of Commissioners as President and Vice President for more than ten years; served as past Chairman of the Illinois Association of Park Districts; served as President, Vice President, and Secretary of the Buffalo Grove Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce; served on the Buffalo Grove Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for six years, and is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Buffalo Grove; married to husband Bruce and has an adult daughter.
