+ − Biography
Naomi Jakobsson was elected in the fall of 2002. She formerly served as Champaign County Recorder for 12 years, Interim Director of Domestic Violence Shelter and the Executive Director of the University YWCA. Naomi and her husband, Eric, have been active in adoptive services and parent support groups through the adoption of six of their eight children. They have twelve grandchildren.
