Will Ainsworth was elected Lieutenant Governor on November 6, 2018, after having served Alabama House District 27 in the Alabama House of Representatives from 2014 to 2018.
In the Alabama House, he served on the following committees: Agriculture and Forestry; Ethics and Campaign Finance; Public Safety and Homeland Security; and Transportation, Utilities, and Infrastructure.

Born on March 22, 1981, Ainsworth graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Marketing. Married to Kendall Foster Ainsworth, the couple has three children: twins, Hunter and Hays; and daughter, Addie.
Ainsworth is a former youth pastor at Grace Fellowship Church and currently serves on the Northeast Alabama Fellowship of Christian Athletes Board of Directors. He is co-owner of Dream Ranch Hunting and Fishing Lodge and is the founder of the Tennessee Valley Hunting and Fishing Expo trade show. He and Kendall are members of Grace Fellowship Church in Albertville.
