Description:
The Senate Committee on Insurance and Banking may go into Executive Session and vote on Senate Bill 45, Senate Bill 105, Senate Bill 310.
ââ¬Â¢ Public seating will be socially distanced and therefore very limited.
SCR1 has space for 15 individuals in addition to Senators and staff. As chairman I have no control over who is allowed access to the room, I strongly suggest interested parties line up prior to the doors opening. Due to the limited seating capacity, we ask that individuals who have completed their testimony and have no further business with the committee to be courteous of individuals that maybe waiting outside for their turn to testify.
ââ¬Â¢ Audio for committee hearings will be streamed. Links may be found for each committee room at https://www.senate.mo.gov/hearingsschedule/hrings.htm
The Chair has no control over when the streaming begins or ends, I would strongly advise all members and attendees to assume that anything said in the committee room may be live streamed. This includes the time before and after the meeting is called to order. The Chair has no ability to control the quality of the streaming process, with some witnesses wearing masks it is possible that some testimony may be inaudible.
ââ¬Â¢ Written testimony will be allowed in lieu of in person oral testimony. Witnesses must register and may upload any written testimony at https://www.senate.mo.gov/senatewitnesssystem/ This committee will only accept testimony for or against a bill and does not accept testimony for informational purposes. While all testimony will be shared with all committee members, unless witnesses are present and willing to answer questions from committee members, these comments will not be part of the official record.
ââ¬Â¢ All submissions must be received one hour prior to the hearing and may not exceed five pages in length.
EXECUTIVE SESSION MAY FOLLOW ON ANY BILL HEARD BY THIS COMMITTEE -
