Instead it substitutes language that creates an Office of Indian Health Service within the Public Health Service which will report directly to the Assistant Secretary for Health. The amendment provides for the salary level of the Administrator for Indian Health and provides that all records of the INS be transferred to the new office. This is to be implemented within 180 days.
