An amendment to provide that costs for the repairs to dams and water projects under the bill will be borne by the current functions served by them at the time the repairs are completed. Those receiving irrigation water as a result from the repairs have 50 years that benefit municipal, industrial, miscellaneous water service, commercial power and fish and wildlife and recreation enhancement, are to be paid within fifty years with interest set by the Secretary of the Treasury. The Treasury may enter into agreements with the beneficiaries providing for return of reimbursable costs to the Treasury, and the Secretary may initiate repairs prior to finalizing the agreements.
