Senate Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause. Amends the Illinois Act on the Aging. Provides that the Department on Aging may establish and fund a program of bundled services designed to support the specialized needs of clients who qualify for Community Care Program services and reside in projects designated by the Department as Comprehensive Care Residential Settings. Provides that the Department shall adopt rules and provide oversight for the project, with assistance and advice provided by the Community Care Program Advisory Committee, rather than the Assisted Living and Shared Housing Advisory Board and Assisted Living and Shared housing Quality of Life Committee. Removes a provision granting the Department the discretion to report to the General Assembly regarding the former demonstration project. Effective immediately.
