House Committee Amendment No. 1
Replaces everything after the enacting clause with provisions substantially similar to those of House Bill 5192, amending the Illinois Public Aid Code, the Illinois Insurance Code, and other Acts, but with changes that include the following: (1) adds 2 items of required mammography coverage to provisions in the Illinois Public Aid Code, the Counties Code, and the Illinois Municipal Code to make these provisions consistent with those in the Illinois Insurance Code; and (2) makes changes in the definition of "low-dose mammography" and related provisions concerning mammography in the Illinois Public Aid Code, the Illinois Insurance Code, the Counties Code, the Illinois Municipal Code, and the Health Maintenance Organization Act to make these provisions uniform. Effective immediately.
House Committee Amendment No. 2
Provides that neither the Governor nor any agency or agency head under the jurisdiction of the Governor has any rulemaking authority under the amendatory Act, but that the Governor may suggest rules by filing them with the General Assembly and requesting that the General Assembly authorize such rulemaking by law, enact the suggested rules into law, or take other appropriate action in the General Assembly's discretion.
