This Amendment deletes changes to the charter contained in Senate Bill 298 concerning absentee voting. The effect of this Amendment is that the charter's current language regarding absentee voting, which provides that the Commissioners may prescribe, by ordinance, for absentee registration and for the casting of absentee ballots, remains intact.
